Batman Adventures Covers by Roboworks Batman Adventures Covers by Roboworks
I've been wanting to post this for a long time, but I never had all the files in one spot.

Well, here they are in all their craptastic glory. Bruce Timm is rolling in his grave.

* Bruce is of course not dead... just a little pale. :)

I've always loved that one fourth over on the top. The red one in the boiler room or wherever it is. The colors are fantastic and the simple rim lighting on Bats is very eye catching. I'll always say that a simple color scheme will give you a ton more milage on a cover than a complicated one. I can tell you have the same philosophy. These are terrific.

Goddamn, man, you did that Mr. Freeze cover?! I have no idea how you manage to keep such a low profile in comics when you've done so much memorable work.

HAHA! It's because I used to question the authority of editors. Now I'm sort of blackballed by the mainstream.

I remember seeing you doing that Red Hood cover! And that Mr. Freeze cover is so damn beautiful!

HAHA! Yeah, was I at the studio during that time? I've been in and out so many times, it's hard to keep track. :)

These are some of my absolute favorite cover from the Batman Adventures!
I must admit that I had seen your work before this but it was these covers that made me really take notice of Kelsey Shannon as a true artistic weapon!

I have all of these from back when they were issued.
I remember the 4th from the top left in particular. That's when I looked up your name for the first time.
The solid blacks on Batgirl in the issue before it were also really, really cool.

HA! Thanks bud! I'm surprised my name was in it at all. They like to save room for all the editors and stuff first.

I think your signature was on the cover. And if it was just a KS I must've been familiar with you before. I'm not 100% sure.

Love your work on this serie. Too bad I didn't had them all. I really like the way you turn BT's style to something more personnal and above all, your coloring work, different from what we usually see on this animated style.

Hey thanks! This was very personal for me. It was my first gig in the majors and a dream of mine. I'm just sorry they canceled it before I really got going.

I think Timm would like these very much. You've captured the drawing and color style of the BTAS quite nicely.

Thanks! I hope so. These mostly were an exercise in design instead of traditional action style stuff. Ty Templeton was my favorite!

The Deadshot cover has never been so appropriate.

An idea is only hard to imagine if you let it be like that.
